This Christmas Season, support ICA Cristo Rey's Corporate Work Study Program.
Corporate Work Study (CWS) is a core part of our students’ formation and an essential part of our funding model that keeps ICA accessible to all families. For many students, the program places them in one of 42 nonprofits that look to our students as solutions to their workforce needs. These organizations are not in a financial position to support the fees associated with CWS partnership.
As such, ICA looks to our community of supporters to ensure access to an education for deserving young women is available, regardless of their family’s or non-profit partner’s ability to pay. This support simultaneously develops students’ professional skills, makes their college-prep education more accessible, and strengthens the impact of local nonprofits.
We’re continuing our Light a Star program as an opportunity for you to celebrate someone who has made a difference in your life (or that hard-to-shop-for loved one on your list!). Make a gift in honor of a loved one, and you can select for an e-card can be sent to them after you make your gift.
"With my job experience, I've developed many skills that have helped me in interviews to get jobs. A few skills I've learned are strong communication, team collaboration, and showing empathy and compassion towards others."
